Wire Feed

Sophisticated wire control allows auto threading under water, auto back off and auto rethread in the event of breakage.

  • Ac servo motors provide positioning and tensioning control with high reliability.
  • High pressure air applied at wire melting system to avoid burning.
  • Intelligent wire cutting device provides varying voltage for different wire diameters.
  • Unique upper wire guide allows auto threading under water through a high pressure water jet and a choice of nozzle diameter.
  • Special lower wire guide has two high pressure water jets with 45° and 180° angles to ensure accurate threading.

Build

Highly rigid cast frame with design features to assure extreme accuracy. Each axis is controlled by precision ballscrew and linear guideways with directly coupled AC servo motors.
