Choice of Control

NZ Control

The TFT colour screen simply prompts the optimum machining parameters which are entered using the alphanumeric keypad.

FZ Control

Machining parameters are entered in a logical sequence using the soft keys with LED’s providing selection information.

Fuzzy Logic

The generator provides both programmable operation and manual control of all the parameters for safe and effective EDMing. The programmable Z axis controlled DRO allows for automatic EDMing from roughing to finishing. The Fuzzy Logic Control System gives the operator access to 9600 sets of machining parameters. These parameters can be modified at any time during erosion without affecting the stored parameter. Simplicity of operation ensures safe operation. Only key-in the machining materials, machining size, electrode wear, and peak current. The controls will then automatically set the optimum setting. During the erosion process the Fuzzy Logic control will automatically monitor and adjust the off-time, spark gap, flushing height, working time and servo sensitivity during a poor machining operation. Once the poor machining condition has been cleared the generator will return to the pre-set condition to get the best performance.
